Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common form of skin cancer which develops in the squamous cells. SCC occurs when there is DNA damage to the cells from exposure to UV radiation. It is most common in people who have fair skin. SCC can appear in various morphology such as scaly, open sores, raised growths or in lesions. SCC can be curable when diagnosed early.
